From Backseat to Boss In Your Horse's Healthcare

I finally got my first horse at 42. His name was Ben, and he came with issues - both physical and emotional.
Lym disease. Abscesses. Bucking and bolting. We didn't have the partnership I'd dreamed of my whole life.
I saw veterinarians. I hired trainers. I tried different supplements. Became an expert on bits. Had a custom saddle made and fitted. I gave bute "just for today" - and said that every single day.
Nothing worked.
Then came the day that changed everything.
I had a vet appointment for Ben's flightiness and unpredictability. The vet did a physical exam, didn't have much to offer, and basically told me my horse was no good. He called Ben "the most insecure horse he's ever met" and suggested I shouldn't have gotten him.
I paid for that appointment. I paid for that "advice."
And then I just got mad.
That day, I decided I wasn't going to live at the mercy of people who couldn't help my horse anymore. I was going to figure this out myself.
I peeled back every layer of Ben's care and keeping. I got right down to basics. I started getting educated in areas other than conventional medicine. I started applying holistic, natural methods to Ben.
Eventually, I ended up with the most wonderful companion and connected partner - way beyond what I could have imagined.
And that's why I created the Whole Horse Health program.
Because I know there are horses out there suffering. And I know their owners would do anything to help them - they just don't know how.

This program is NOT about diagnosing anything. Only a vet can diagnose your horse.
This is not emergency care.
This program IS about building health. When you build health in your horse - addressing the root causes instead of masking symptoms - the problems go away. Not overnightY(and nor did your horse didn't develop chronic problems overnight), but consistently, progressively, and permanently.
Think of it this way: You've been trying to fix inside problems with outside solutions. Bute for lameness. Supplements for digestive issues. Training aids for anxiety. But the outside problems are symptoms of inside problems. Weak roots. A compromised foundation that's been faltering for years.
From Backseat to Boss teaches you how to build strong roots and get your horse better from the inside out by addressing diet, toxins, movement, digestive health, and natural aides when an aide is needed - you create a foundation where your horse's body can heal itself and thrive.
Module 1: Foundation of Holistic Health Care
We start with the big picture - what holistic health care actually means for horses, and the products I recommend (and why).
Module 2: The Digestive System
Learn how your horse's digestive system actually works, what ulcers really are, and natural solutions for digestive health. This is where so many chronic problems begin.
Module 3: Diet
I'll lay out a complete diet plan for your horse, with specific product recommendations and feeding strategies that support true health.
Module 4: Toxins
Discover how to limit toxins going into your horse and how to detoxify toxins already in their system. This is often the missing piece.
Module 5: Parasite Control
Learn about holistic parasite control - no more automatic deworming every 8 weeks "just because."
Module 6: Movement
Understand why movement is critical for your horse's health, and practical ways to keep your horse moving even if you can't be there.
Module 7: The Feet
The importance of hoof health, evaluating the trim, daily maintenance, and addressing common foot ailments naturally.
Module 8: Additional Holistic Modalities
Get an overview of myofascial release, massage, kinesiology taping, acupuncture and acupressure, and energy work for horses.
Module 9: Basic First Aid & Common Ailments
Learn what to do about common problems using natural tools - so you know when you can handle it yourself and when to call the vet.
Module 10: Getting Confidence to Go Against the Crowd
This might be the most important module. Learn how to deal with people who judge you, question your choices, or pressure you to do things their way. Learn how to talk to your veterinarian as a partner, not an authority figure.
Module 11: Bringing It All Together
We wrap up everything you've learned and create your path forward.

You'll also get access to 20+ bonus PDFs,
videos, and trainings on topics like:
How to syringe into your horse's mouth with success
Herbs versus essential oils - what's the difference and which do you use?
Natural pain relief tools for horses
Plus ongoing ad-hoc trainings on topics like vaccinations and titers, hoof care, and whatever the group needs at the time
When your 6 months are complete,
you have an option to continue on
for just $49/month - and you keep everything; the weekly calls, the recordings, the trainings, the
community, and full access to me.
Most people start seeing changes in their horse, depending on what problems they're addressing and what kind of change they're looking for.
This is about building your confidence and having good experiences so you feel solid in what you're doing when there's a bump or wrinkle.
Remember: Your horse didn't develop chronic problems overnight, and they don't get fixed overnight. This program turns your horse's health around so that every day, every week, every month, and every year to come, they continue building as much strength and health as they can.
How long it takes depends on where you're starting from. A young, healthy horse? This program is preventative - so they don't develop problems in older ages. An older horse with existing issues? This is a constant evolution of developing health.

You're ready to take control of your horse's health care rather than be at the mercy of people who don't know and love your horse like you do
You're willing to think outside of what you've known in the past and consider new approaches
You love your horse deeply and will do what it takes
You're tired of treating symptoms and want to address root causes
You recognize that conventional veterinary medicine isn't hitting the mark when it comes to chronic illnesses
You understand that veterinarians aren't schooled in things like diet and nutrition
You're the decision-maker for how your horse is kept and fed (whether you own or lease)
You're willing to be open to solutions that might not seem like the easiest at first
You want a different approach and are tired of the run-around of medications and temporary symptom relievers
Brand new horse owners are absolutely welcome, as are experienced horse people.

Are stuck in the mindset of conventional medicine when it comes to horse care
Can't go against the crowd or think for yourself
Constantly argue for your own limitations - always explaining why you can't do something (don't have time, too overwhelmed, not smart enough, can't afford it)
Are looking for someone else to just take care of your horse's problems for you
Want a quick fix or a one-size-fits-all approach
Aren't willing to do the work or take personal responsibility for your success
Have already given up and see yourself as a victim of your circumstances
Aren't patient with yourself as you learn something new
Aren't truly committed to the health and happiness of your horse
Aren't open-minded to a new way of doing things
This program doesn't work for everyone, and that's okay.
We're all in different places on our journeys. I really want success for you and your horse. But I can't be the only one putting in the effort. I know that when you commit to this system and do the work, you will achieve success. But you have to be ready.

A: Yes! While some barns have rules about feed and care, you're still your horse's owner and decision-maker. I'll show you creative ways to implement changes even within barn restrictions. Many of my clients board their horses.
A: Every call is recorded and posted in the private Facebook group. You can watch on your own time and still ask questions in the group.
A: Plan on about 1-2 hours per week for the module content, plus the one-hour live call (or watching the recording). The actual implementation with your horse varies depending on what changes you're making.
A: Absolutely. Most of my clients come to me with older horses (15+ years) who already have chronic issues. The program is designed to build health from where you are right now. A younger, healthy horse benefits from prevention. An older horse with problems benefits from healing and support.
A: That's exactly why this program works - because it's not about trying random natural remedies. It's about addressing the whole horse systematically, building health from the inside out with a proven framework. Plus, you have support and accountability to make it work.
A: No! Brand new horse owners are welcome. I explain everything clearly and answer all your questions. You just need to be willing to learn and apply what you learn.
A: Part of the program (Module 10) specifically addresses how to talk to your veterinarian and handle people who question your choices. You'll learn how to maintain a good relationship with your vet while still being in charge of your horse's care. Remember - your vet should be a partner, not an authority figure.
